Job summary

Green Alpha Property Management is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support our apartment complex in Baton Rouge, LA. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role requires a proactive attitude and reliability, with compensation of $18–$20 per hour.

You will handle routine maintenance tasks and coordinate with tenants to ensure high-quality living environments. Responsibilities include responding to requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring units are ready for move-in.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of maintenance experience.
• Computer experience required and comfortable with property management software (AppFolio).
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and manage work orders.
• Support preventative maintenance across properties.
• Ensure HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and exterior systems are functional.
• Ensure units are move-in ready with checklists and site visits.
• Maintain property cleanliness and manage debris removal.
