Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• 1–2 years of on‑the‑job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.
• Basic computer skills: laptop/phone apps and Outlook; familiarity with codes.
• Licenses as required by local/state regulations; fire/life safety knowledge.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate with tenants and vendors.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand pertinent codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in restrooms, replace fixtures, and unclog drains.
• Carry out general labor, debris removal, and material handling.
• Safely travel to sites for parts with company vehicles; obey traffic laws.
• Maintain or replace doors, minor furniture, floors, and paint in equipment rooms.
• Inspect engineering spaces, mechanical rooms, and equipment; report findings.
• Replace lamps, air filters, ceiling tiles, and fire extinguishers.
• Communicate professionally with teammates, vendors, tenants, and clients.
• Interact with tenants, engineers, and contractors during tasks.
• Follow safety protocols; use PPE; support safety audits and hazard reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
