Job summary

Guardian Real Estate Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Sunrise Estates I and II in The Dalles, OR. This full-time role supports the Community Manager by ensuring safety and timely property maintenance to uphold curb appeal and quality.

The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and capable of coordinating with staff and vendors. 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• At least one year of work experience in property maintenance and repairs preferred.
• Must own or have access to tools and materials needed for the job.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively; timely, both verbally and in writing.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance; vehicle required for business use.
• If pool present, CPO certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Guardian professionally at all times.
• Assist Community Manager to meet property management obligations.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws (fire, backflow, OSHA).
• Walk property grounds daily; maintain curb appeal and exterior.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors to address maintenance needs.
• Respond to service requests and complete work orders promptly.
• Record space conditions and keep areas neat and ready to show.
• Coordinate with vendors and schedule maintenance for pools/spas if applicable.
