Job summary

Enterprise Community Partners is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor in Maryland to lead the maintenance team and ensure a safe, well-kept living environment for residents. Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years as a maintenance technician; supervisory experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Extensive knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, equipment repair and painting.
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification - Type II or Universal (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Ability to use hand and power tools proficiently.
• Ability to lead, direct and motivate others to excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, high-quality completion of resident service requests.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with residents, staff and guests to address concerns promptly.
• Identify and complete routine, preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance repairs.
• Effectively manage maintenance staff; ensure training and timely completion of tasks.
• Oversee apartment turnovers including repairs, renovations, painting, and cleaning.
• Maintain safe, tidy areas and proper dumpster preparation for trash.
• Monitor community areas and advise management of maintenance needs.
• Maintain landscaping and perform snow removal as needed.
• Comply with policies and procedures; support HR and safety requirements.
• Resolve complex service issues and handle sensitive resident communications.
• Assist with annual budget planning and procurement of service contracts.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Develop and deliver training to associates; participate in required trainings.
• Support other communities as assigned; perform other duties as needed.
