Job summary

GCI Residential in Cobblestone Court, Painesville, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team and ensure high-quality service. The role supports resident satisfaction and renewals through strong operations and teamwork.

Responsibilities include scheduling service, directing projects, troubleshooting various requests, and preparing homes for rent across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, exteriors and appliances, while controlling expenses and collaborating

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in multifamily apartment maintenance.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry items, exteriors and appliances.
• Ability to use electronic communication professionally and efficiently.
• Dedication to exceeding customer needs and building relationships.
• Demonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation and organization on tasks.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, on-call.
• Residency on-site is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service to maintain community appearance and resident safety.
• Provide technical and project direction to the team to manage priorities.
• Troubleshoot a wide variety of residential service requests promptly.
• Prepare apartment homes for rent with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, exteriors and appliances repairs.
• Control expenses and anticipate maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager to maintain a pride-worthy community.
