Job summary

The Collier Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our on-site maintenance team at one of our Florida communities in Tallahassee. You will ensure property upkeep meets our high standards and respond to repairs with a focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a supervisory maintenance role, HVAC and EPA credentials preferred, strong vendor relationships, and a proven ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a Maintenance/Service Manager or supervisory role.
• EPA certification and HVAC skills strongly preferred.
• Ability to recruit vendors and build long-term relationships.
• Extremely organized with keen attention to detail.
• Self-starter who can work independently and prioritize.
• Willingness to participate in Emergency-On-Call and overtime in peak seasons.
• Proven track record of excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support maintenance team to meet property standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues; implement customer-focused solutions.
• Oversee repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage on-call emergencies.
• Ensure safety and compliance across properties.
