The Collier Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Ocala, FL.

The role supports the Maintenance Team to uphold property standards, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving issues with a customer-service attitude. Responsibilities include repairs across HVAC (if certified), electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and appliances, while maintaining safety and quality on residential properties.

Qualifications

• EPA certification is a plus.
• At least 1 year experience as a maintenance technician preferred.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Apartment housing experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing & HVAC.
• Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented to complete work orders.
• Flexible schedule including nights/weekends and on-call rotation.
• Proven customer service track record.
• Must have basic tools and pass a maintenance test.
• Reliable transportation and valid instate driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Team to ensure property meets established standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and appliances.
• Handle work orders efficiently and safely in a residential environment.
