Job summary

Pella Corporation in Medley, FL is seeking a Technical Department Manager to lead the maintenance team and ensure all plant equipment is reliable and up to date. You will drive downtime reduction, optimize production, and coordinate preventative maintenance for mechanical and electrical systems on site.

Responsibilities

Create and implement preventative maintenance programs within budgets and uptime goals.
Interact with operations and engineering teams to support major projects and modifications.
Respond to breakdowns by determining root cause and performing repairs.
Maintain SOPs and revision control on all plant equipment.
Ensure efficient utilization of personnel and equipment to meet uptime and downtime goals.
Oversee staff staffing and training of plant maintenance technicians.
Supervise and schedule maintenance of all plant equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
