Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to maintain and enhance the value of an assigned community. You will assume Maintenance Manager responsibilities in their absence and coordinate after-hours maintenance requests, complete work orders, and communicate with residents and supervisors.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and exterior systems, performing sheetrock repairs, ensuring OSHA safety compliance, and collaborating with contractors to keep

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• EPA certification required.
• CPO – preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency on-call and after-hours maintenance.
• Complete and document work orders within 24-48 hours.
• Communicate status updates to residents, team members and supervisors.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring, carpentry, drywall, and exterior systems.
• Perform sheetrock repairs to maintain aesthetics and structure.
• Ensure OSHA and safety/environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with maintenance team, other departments, and contractors.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to prevent issues and uphold property quality.
• Assess property safety and cleanliness; report supply needs.
• Step in as Maintenance Manager when needed.
