Job summary

Healthcare Realty Trust is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for medical office buildings in Summerville, Mount Pleasant, and North Charleston, SC. This on-site role requires a minimum of five years in facilities maintenance and a thorough understanding of BAS, electrical systems, and HVAC equipment.

You will perform repairs, complete work orders, read blueprints, and coordinate with the property team. On-call approximately every three weeks with travel within 30 miles; benefits include health,

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in facilities maintenance.
• Thorough understanding of Building Automation Systems, electrical systems, controls, condensing boilers, package rooftop HVAC, VAV, chemical treatment, emergency generation equipment, plumbing, transfer switches and life safety systems.
• Must be able to read blueprints and use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and building upkeep as needed; complete maintenance and repair records.
• Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
• On-call approximately every three weeks; travel to buildings within 30 miles of Charleston area.
