Job summary

Davis Development is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Granary Haus at Celina, TX. You will maintain a safe, comfortable living environment and perform routine maintenance across units and common areas.

Responsibilities include handling make-ready repairs after move-out, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with hazardous materials regulations. A strong team player with relevant certifications and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of maintenance experience or equivalent in related field.
• EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use good judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Operates computer, phone system and general office equipment.
• Must be able to take emergency calls and respond promptly.
• Valid driver's license and daily transportation for supplies.
• May need to drive a golf cart.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair on all units and equipment.
• Move heavy appliances/equipment between storage and apartments as needed.
• Inspect and coordinate make-ready repairs after move-out.
• Follow EPA/OSHA regulations for hazardous materials storage and handling.
• Create and assist with work orders for timely completion.
• Schedule vendors and contractors for curb appeal.
• Ensure all amenities/grounds are ready for review.
• Walk move-outs to assess damages and report to Maintenance Supervisor.
