Job summary

Davis Development is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold a safe, comfortable living environment across our communities. You will diagnose, repair, and coordinate make-ready work while navigating EPA/OSHA requirements and scheduling vendors for curb appeal.

Your role blends teamwork with independent task completion to support residents and staff. With 2+ years in related field and the required certifications, you will drive a positive maintenance culture, assist with move-outs, and ensure

Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in related field.
EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certification required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to use good judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills.
Works as part of a team, as well as completes assignments independently.
Must have a valid driver’s license and daily transportation for supplies and duties.
May need to drive a golf cart and wear company uniforms.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and perform minor or routine preventative maintenance or repair on all units and equipment.
Remove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to apartment (or vice versa) as needed.
Inspect and coordinate make-ready repairs and services of apartments after move out.
Comply with EPA and OSHA regulations for proper storage and management of hazardous materials.
Create and assist with work orders to ensure timely completion.
Schedule vendors and contractors responsible for curb appeal.
Ensure amenities and grounds are finished and ready for review.
Walk move-outs to assess damages and report results to the Maintenance Supervisor.
