Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking two full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Case Managers to provide non-clinical medical case-management and administrative support to the Louisiana Army National Guard State Surgeon Office in Pineville, Louisiana.

The roles involve tracking medical status in military systems of record, coordinating referrals, and ensuring readiness requirements are met. On-site, you’ll work Tuesday through Friday, 0700–1730, under contract W912NR-26-F-A007.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse with a current license in good standing.
• Must complete HIPAA certification and DoD cyber-awareness training.
• Must be trained to perform case-management and safeguard protected information.
• Experience with Army National Guard medical readiness systems preferred; on-site in Pineville, LA, Tue-Fri 0700–1730.

Responsibilities

• Review privacy rights and obtain necessary releases for Service Members.
• Review DoD medical readiness portals and identify non-deployable Soldiers and services.
• Track and manage medical status through military systems and update cases monthly.
• Schedule and coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and provider-directed actions.
• Coordinate examinations and evaluations at readiness events.
• Communicate with readiness officers and Soldiers for required information.
• Manage each Soldier case from identification to readiness or separation.
• Document interviews and updates in MEDCHART within 24 hours.
• Index and enter medical documentation within five business days and stamp MEDPROS posted.
• Educate Soldiers on medical readiness responsibilities and available resources.
• Run MEDPROS and post-event reports to verify completion of services.
• Submit Integrated Disability Evaluation System referrals as needed.
• Prepare vouchers when readiness requirements cannot be completed on-site.
• Comply with Army Regulations and all HIPAA requirements.
• Attend readiness events at Camp Beauregard and travel as required.
• Stay current on guidelines and generate required system reports as DoD changes.
