Alexander & Schmidt is seeking a Loss Control Field Representative in Bridgewater Township, NJ, to perform on-site inspections of commercial properties for underwriting purposes.

You will prepare clear reports, travel within a 60-mile radius, and collaborate with underwriters. Strong writing and communication skills are essential; professional CSP/OHST/ALCM/ARM certifications are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience with a commercial carrier or as an independent loss control contractor.
• Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines including property, general liability, auto and workers compensation.
• Strong writing, organizational, and computer skills.
• Willingness to travel within a 60-mile radius.
• Certifications CSP, OHST, ALCM and/or ARM are preferred, but not required.
• Uploading completed reports, photos and diagrams through a special website or web-based systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform on-site loss control inspections for property, GL, and auto.
• Prepare underwriting reports for new policies or renewals.
• Submit reports and supporting materials via the designated online portal.
• Maintain high-quality loss control surveys to aid underwriting decisions.
