Job summary

Alexander & Schmidt is seeking a Loss Control Field Representative in Missouri to perform on-site inspections of property, general liability and incidental auto exposures for underwriting purposes.

You will prepare detailed reports used by insurance underwriters to assess risk and price new policies or renewals. Travel within a 60-mile radius is required, and professional certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience with a commercial carrier or as an independent loss control contractor.
• Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines.
• Strong writing, organizational and computer skills.
• Travel within a 60 mile radius.
• Cert CSP, OHST, ALCM and/or ARM are preferred, but not required.
• Uploading completed reports/photos/diagrams through a website or web-based systems.
