Job summary

R.T. Moore is seeking a Logistics Lead in the Clearwater/Tampa/St. Pete area to supervise material flow and ensure timely availability for multifamily field operations.

You will maintain accurate receiving, manage jobsite inventories, and communicate effectively with project teams to minimize shortages and overages. The role emphasizes coordinating orders, staging, and timely deliveries, with a focus on safety and warehouse discipline.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
• Valid driver license required.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Knowledge of construction jobsite management operations.
• Strong communication, planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Proactively review material lists with project managers, superintendents, and field engineers to ensure accurate quantities of material are ordered and received with minimum overages or shortages.
• Coordinate orders and trailer stock with all relevant parties at project onset and replenish materials as the project progresses.
• Manage movement, staging, cleanliness and organization for all materials and projects to ensure availability for field operations.
• Stock and organize materials consistent with warehousing discipline including item numbers.
• Communicate with project managers and field engineers to reduce will-calls and ensure materials on site when needed.
• Work with warehouse staff to ensure rental equipment is delivered and picked up on time; report maintenance needs.
• Track and report statuses on backorders in real time; follow up on pending orders for timely deliveries.
• Order, maintain, coordinate, and track inventory of materials and tools; report inventory levels monthly/quarterly.
