Tampa Microwave, Inc. in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Logistics/Inventory Control Manager to lead all inventory control, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting activities.

The role reports to the Director of Operations and focuses on accuracy, process discipline, and continuous improvement in a small- to mid-size manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ERP expertise, and strong ITAR knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5–10 years equivalent experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory control.
• Strong knowledge of ITAR and foreign license requirements.
• Lean, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma experience.
• Excellent analytical and data skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Ability to obtain US Secret Level security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack and ship palletized shipments CONUS/International.
• Lead, supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Inventory Control personnel.
• Manage stockroom, shipping and receiving activities with documented processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-cutting plans.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Planning to meet production needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all departments.
• Monitor material transaction accuracy.
• Identify root causes of discrepancies and resolve.
• Plan and execute facility inventories and cycle counts.
• Manage excess and obsolete inventory and disposal.
• Instruct stockroom on returning defective items and process them.
• Maintain ERP proficiency and update weekly/monthly performance metrics.
• Other responsibilities as required.
