Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys throughout trials and pre/trial phases in a busy Florida office. You will prepare filings, manage discovery, coordinate depositions, and liaise with clients and courts, ensuring deadlines are met.

You will join a large firm known for consumer rights advocacy, with a comprehensive benefits package and on-site team collaboration. Strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2+ years of litigation experience required.
• Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred.
• Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings.
• Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and court procedures.
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive computer and database expertise; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; 35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and memoranda.
• E-file court documents in state and federal court.
• Communicate with clients, court, counsel, and others.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations.
• Prepare discovery documents and responses.
• Draft and serve summons; coordinate depositions.
• Prepare trial binders and exhibits.
• Assist with case settlements and other attorney tasks.
• Other tasks as requested by the attorney.
