Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys before, during and after trials. This on-site role involves preparing pleadings, filing documents, conducting legal research, and coordinating discovery with the trial team.

You will work closely with attorneys, manage calendars for depositions and hearings, and assist with case settlements while maintaining organization and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2+ years of litigation experience required.
• Experience in personal injury or related practice areas preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; multitask and prioritize workloads.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda.
• E-file all court documents in state and federal court.
• Communicate with clients, court, counsel and others.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
• Prepare discovery documents and responses; coordinate depositions.
• Aid attorney with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
