Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys before, during, and after trials.

This on-site role involves preparing pleadings, filing documents, coordinating depositions, and assisting with discovery and trial materials. Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or paralegal certificate and 2+ years of litigation experience, with a strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and litigation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and complaints.
• E-file court documents in state and federal court.
• Communicate with clients, court, counsel, and others.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
• Prepare discovery documents and responses.
• Draft and serve summons and coordinate depositions.
• Prepare trial binders and exhibits.
• Assist attorneys with case settlements and other tasks.
