Zusammenfassung

The Lighting Group, LLC, a leading independent lighting and controls agency in Western Washington, seeks a Lighting Retrofit Auditor to assess facilities on-site and translate field data into LED retrofit proposals. You will audit commercial, industrial, and institutional spaces, document fixtures and controls, perform energy analyses, and prepare professional reports for distributors and contractors.

Travel to facilities across the service area is required.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in lighting, electrical, energy auditing, or a related field preferred.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, floor plans, and facility layouts.
• Familiarity with lighting design or energy analysis software is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical field data into clear reports.

Aufgaben

• Conduct on-site walkthroughs of facilities to assess lighting conditions.
• Identify and document fixture types, lamp models, ballast types, and operational wattages.
• Map controls and utilization by recording timers, sensors, and zoning; identify overlit and underlit areas.
• Measure ambient light levels using foot-candle meters to verify conditions.
• Capture visual evidence by taking site photographs of fixtures and panels.
• Design replacement lighting systems and controls based on audit findings.
• Prepare energy analyses and savings calculations comparing existing versus proposed systems.
• Produce audit reports, lighting layouts, and retrofit proposals for distributors and contractors.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, and internal teams.
