Job summary

Reliable Electric and Lighting seeks a Commercial Lighting Technician to perform interior and exterior retrofit projects at commercial and retail facilities. This role involves removing old components, installing LED systems, and ensuring workmanship aligns with project specs and safety standards.

Work is primarily on customer sites, with travel required to various project locations. Candidates should be comfortable heights, operating lifts, and following site drawings and documented procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior commercial lighting retrofit experience preferred.
• Experience with LED lighting systems preferred.
• Ability to work at heights and from ladders/scissor/boom lifts.
• Must have valid driver’s license and travel as required.
• Reliable and punctual with safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial and retail lighting retrofit installations.
• Remove and replace lamps, ballasts, drivers, fixtures, and related components.
• Install LED lamps, retrofit kits, fixtures, drivers, sensors, and lighting controls.
• Perform interior and exterior lighting upgrades.
• Follow project drawings and site documentation.
• Safely operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other aerial work platforms.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Complete required project documentation and reporting.
• Communicate project issues to the Foreman.
• Travel to customer locations as required.
