Job summary
Walk The Line Recovery Therapy in Southfield, MI is seeking a licensed athletic trainer for a full-time, on-site role. The position supports recovery programs under a Physical Therapist, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and no weekend work.
Ideal candidates hold a Michigan Athletic Trainer License (BOC certified) and are team players with strong communication skills. Training is provided, and benefits include healthcare, PTO, and retirement options.
Qualifications
- State of Michigan Athletic Trainer License; BOC certification required.
- Team oriented and highly motivated to provide quality care.
- Excellent communicator and a trust builder.
- Desire to join a community-focused recovery team.
- Experience is a plus, but training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Work under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist to develop and implement recovery treatment plans.
- Administer approved treatments safely and effectively under supervision.
- Develop proficiency in the EMR system and document timely.
- Communicate with clients and families to build trust and confidence.
