Job summary

BC Tech Pro is seeking a Computer Field Technician to perform hardware repairs and installations on laptops and desktops at customer sites. On a 1099/per call basis, pay starts at $35 per call and increases with distance traveled.

Tickets run Mon-Fri during the day shift; 3 weekdays required. You will complete Dell and Lenovo certifications during onboarding and must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience replacing components on laptops and desktops.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be comfortable with daily local travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units.
• Work on-site at multiple customer locations within the territory.
• Log calls and map routes in the tech portal each day, starting by 9 am.
• Pick up parts daily from FedEx/UPS stores and return old parts with prepaid labels.
