Job summary

System One is seeking a Laboratory Sample Processing Technician to join our Minneapolis lab. This on-site, 12-month contract role focuses on accurate transcription of sample information into LIMS and ensuring samples are prepared, labeled, stored, and routed for testing.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of lab experience or a science degree, proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP and LIMS, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of lab experience or a science-related degree
• Familiar with SAP and LIMS systems
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand 5–6 hours per day
• PPE compliance and lab safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Transcribe sample submission information into LIMS/Labware
• Validate sample matrix suitability for tests
• Organize, deliver, store, and dispose of samples per guidelines
• Perform sample processing steps (prep, aliquoting, labeling, storage)
• Use grinders/blenders and cryogenic workflows as needed
• Document preparation steps in LIMS
• Process third-party submission requests, including shipments
• Maintain PPE and safety practices per GMP/OSHA ISO
