Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Indianapolis seeks a site supervisor to lead a small on-site lab services team, manage daily operations, and ensure high customer service levels against contractual scope.

You will oversee order/stockroom/dock management, procurement, chemical handling, and safety programs, while partnering with sales and regional managers to identify improvements and savings. Strong leadership and GMP knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Supervise a small on-site team and manage employee lifecycle.
• Experience in GMP and controlled environments is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day supervision of on-site lab staff and service delivery.
• Deliver on contractual scope; track metrics and coordinate reviews.
• Act as liaison between customer and Thermo Fisher Scientific; coordinate visits.
• Write SOPs, conduct site audits, and ensure annual inventory.
• Identify opportunities for service expansion and cost savings.
• Drive process improvement through Practical Process Improvement (PPI).
• Support safety programs and ensure staff compliance with PPE.
• Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific professionally at customer sites.
