Job summary

Four Winds Casino Hartford is seeking a kitchen team member responsible for basic food preparation, cooking, and ensuring china and glassware are cleaned efficiently. You will support dining venues with silver and dishware on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities include following recipes and standards, maintaining clean workstations, proper storage, and assisting with guest requests. A Level 4 Gaming License is required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to perform basic math: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons, finishes, and garnishes all food.
• Maintains refrigeration and dry storage areas with proper rotation.
• Keeps culinary workstation clean and properly stored after shift.
• Follows recipes, specs, and control procedures.
• Maintains sanitary area in compliance with health regulations.
• Assists with guest requests when needed.
• Helps stock dishes and stock rotation of food products.
• Receives, thaws, and stores items correctly; handles sauces and soups.
