Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, mentorship, and real-world skills. This full-time, on-site role supports K-3 students, delivering targeted literacy sessions using app-based learning and campus routines.

You will keep with your group from launch to close, tailor plans for each child, and report weekly progress to parents. Relocation support is available for national applicants.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years direct experience with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, or similar settings.
• At least 2 years teaching reading in K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master's in reading or literacy.
• Bachelor's degree required; teaching certificate not required.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through app-based core learning, identify gaps, and drive progress toward daily goals.
• Conduct short structured-literacy sessions with 2–4 students and deliver targeted sequences.
• Lead morning launch, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities to sustain momentum.
• Motivate students toward weekly app goals using school currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing; tailor plans to individual needs.
