Job summary

Spectrum Automotive Holdings Corp. in O'Fallon, MO (On-Site) seeks a Jr. SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and ETL processes under guidance.

You will work with a team of developers, analysts, and project managers to deliver robust data solutions. Your responsibilities include writing efficient SQL queries, optimizing performance, building PowerBI reports, and documenting database structures and configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or 1–2 years industry experience.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases to meet project requirements with guidance from a Senior.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for performance and data retrieval.
• Implement ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions.
• Develop and maintain PowerBI or equivalent reports for actionable insights.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database structures and processes.
• Identify and resolve database issues and provide user support.
• Organize and run daily data builds based on end-user tickets.
• Stay updated on SQL Server developments and pursue continuous learning.
