Job summary

Scientific Safety Alliance, headquartered in Carrollton, TX, is seeking a Junior Chemist for its PRECILAB lab. This hands-on bench role focuses on ultra-trace analysis, requiring meticulous preparation of reagents, standards, and samples, with strict adherence to ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

You will work with ICP-MS, ICP-OES, IC, GC, and titration instruments, and support data documentation, audits, and customer communications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or closely related science and a solid lab background.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals and lab safety practices is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to document data clearly.
• Valid driver's license and ability to visit customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ultra-pure reagents, standards, and samples in a clean room.
• Operate laboratory instrumentation per established methods and verify results.
• Document data, maintain records, and support ISO/IEC 17025 audits.
• Perform daily calibrations and preventive maintenance on instruments.
• Provide responsive customer communication and assist with audits.
