Job summary

Muller Technology Group is seeking a Junior Buyer to purchase catalog and standard parts for production and customer projects. You will manage the full order cycle in SAP, ensure on-time delivery, maintain data accuracy, and follow up with suppliers under supervision.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s in business, supply chain, or technical field preferred.
• 1–3 years in purchasing, expediting, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; SAP Business One preferred; Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Convert requisitions and MRP requirements into purchase orders in SAP within approved authority.
• Issue RFQs for catalog and repeat items; compare offers and terms.
• Handle RFQs and orders for fabricated parts under supervision.
• Obtain order acknowledgments and confirm production progress with suppliers.
• Escalate at-risk orders and propose delay-mitigation solutions.
• Maintain SAP data accuracy for orders, deliveries, and pricing.
• Inform production, planning, project management, and sales of material status and delays.
• Record delivery and quality issues to support supplier evaluation.
• Support purchasing across all activities including aftermarket and Robotics.
