Job summary

Talently in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Junior Accountant for an on-site role in a manufacturing environment. You will help ensure accurate financial reporting and informed business decisions that support production and procurement objectives.

The role covers daily AP/AR/GL transactions, journal entries, reconciliations, inventory costing, and month-end close, with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. A Bachelor's degree and 0–2 years of experience are expected, plus strong Excel and English

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Foundational knowledge of cost accounting, financial accounting, and manufacturing operations.
0-2 years of related accounting experience including internships, with AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations, and GL activities.

Responsibilities

Record and reconcile daily accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Support inventory costing, cycle counts, variance analysis, and COGS calculations.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies.
