Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an On-Site Support Analyst II to manage end-user incidents, service requests and deployments from a local IT operations team. You will resolve hardware and software issues, configure devices, and provide training and guidance to users while maintaining security and documentation.

The role requires a BS in computer science (or equivalent), 2 years of experience, and familiarity with Active Directory, M365, Windows, iOS, and Ivanti ITSM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (equivalent) and two years of experience supporting internal desktop systems; 3 years if no degree.
• CompTIA+ Certificate preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 technologies (Teams, meetings, OneDrive, Enterprise Apps, Intune), Windows OS, Apple iOS, administration and security, deployment and management, automation technologies.
• Experience with hardware, network and software troubleshooting.
• LAN/WAN networks experience; wired networking and Wi‑Fi configuration.
• Knowledge of MS Teams and video conferencing/ projection solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software, OS, and updates; ensure licensing compliance.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control; handle password resets and provisioning.
• Identify and resolve network connectivity and IT-related issues; escalate when needed.
• Maintain detailed records of tickets and create knowledge base articles.
• Enforce security policies and protect sensitive data.
