Job summary

Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) is seeking an Information Technology Support Technician II to provide hands-on technical assistance for staff. The role supports computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure, with a focus on troubleshooting and user training.

Under supervision of the Network Administrator, you will relocate and maintain IT equipment, create user guides, and assist in IT projects. On-site work in Honolulu, HI is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of specialized work experience with PCs, peripherals, and software.
• At least 1 year providing technical assistance to users.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to staff on data process equipment, systems and applications.
• Train users on computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Write user-friendly instructions and guidelines for system use and maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues; perform diagnostic testing.
