Job summary

SYSTEM West Virginia University Health System is seeking an IT Support Tech at Uniontown Hospital to install, maintain, and troubleshoot PC hardware and software, including operating systems and common office programs. Provide on-site end-user training and helpful support.

Responsibilities include hardware/software troubleshooting, device setup, and network support; coordinate projects; work on-site at Uniontown, 40 hours weekly in a standard office environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology or two years of PC hardware/software support experience.
• Certification support will be provided; certification completion required within four months of training.
• Three years of experience with PC hardware/software support.

Responsibilities

• Provide workstation hardware/software support for end users, troubleshoot issues, and train users on IT processes.
• Install and test end-user hardware/software, devices include PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, IP phones, mobile devices.
• Assist with network device setup and printer/vendor connections; collaborate with IT teams; maintain documentation.
