Job summary

Teceze in Medina, MN is seeking an IT Support Engineer – L1 to provide first-level technical support to end users. The role covers troubleshooting hardware, software, OS, and basic network issues to ensure timely incident resolution.

The successful candidate will support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 apps, and IT ticketing systems while delivering remote and on-site assistance and maintaining SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 in a corporate environment.
• Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Fundamental networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
• Experience with Active Directory and user account management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams).
• Experience using IT ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and business applications.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
• Assist with user account creation, password resets, account unlocks, and access-related issues.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP connectivity problems.
• Log, track, update, and resolve incidents and service requests using IT ticketing tools.
• Escalate complex technical issues to L2 support or the appropriate technical teams.
• Assist with desktop/laptop deployment, software installation, patching, and device configuration.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and update equipment allocation records.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support as required.
• Follow IT policies, security procedures, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
