Job summary

Questeq in Central Valley School District, Monaca, PA seeks an Information Technology Specialist (On-Site) to support classroom technology and district staff. You will configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers, ensuring reliable access to apps and data.

Responsibilities include imaging, software installation, applying security updates, managing Active Directory policies, and resolving help desk tickets promptly.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical equivalent preferred.
• Experience providing computer and network support.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Extensive troubleshooting skills required.
• Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

• Set up new computers including imaging, software installation, hardware upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Conducts problem identification and resolution focusing on help desk tickets.
• Develops desktop strategies and configuration options to meet customer needs.
• Create and maintain standard workstation images for desktops and laptops.
• Implement patch distribution management for desktops.
• Ensure OS is updated with security patches; manage BIOS & drivers.
• Understand Active Directory policies and maintain application groups.
• Interact with customers by phone and in person.
• Provide ongoing hardware and software support for all technologies.
• Address tickets promptly and document changes.
• Manage multiple priorities including tickets and projects.
