Muon Space in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Help Desk Intern to join our IT team for a full-time, on-site summer internship between May and September. Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed IT/computer science degree or related field.
• Basic understanding of Windows and macOS and productivity tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365).
• Strong communication and customer-service skills; patient with non-technical users.
• Well-organized, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Able to work full-time and on-site in Mountain View, CA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for help desk requests, responding to tickets and guiding teammates through fixes.
• Set up, image, and deploy laptops, accounts, and peripherals for new and existing employees.
• Troubleshoot common hardware, software, printing, conferencing, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain IT inventory and asset records; keep documentation and how-to guides up to date.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff and learn from resolutions.
