Job summary

Frederick Fox LLC is seeking an on-site IT Field Support specialist based in Houston, TX. The role deploys, supports, and maintains standardized technology environments at multiple job sites and offices, implementing Meraki network equipment and conference room systems per enterprise standards.

You will install, configure, and troubleshoot networking technologies, own issues through resolution, and coordinate with infrastructure and service delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IT field support, networking, or systems administration required.
• Networking or IT service management certification preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Deploys and configures jobsite network equipment and connectivity solutions.
• Installs and maintains field hardware, workstations, mobile devices, and site infrastructure.
• Troubleshoots and resolves site-level technical issues per service standards.
• Maintains asset tracking, recovery, and documentation within established systems.
• Supports project startup and closeout technology requirements.
• Coordinates escalations with Infrastructure and Service Delivery teams.
• Ensures field environments adhere to enterprise security and configuration standards.
• Provide hands-on technical support for end-user and field technologies, including laptops, mobile devices, conference room technology, printers, peripherals, and related systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot networking technologies, including firewalls, switches, VLANs, DHCP/DNS, and other jobsite network infrastructure.
• Own technical issues through resolution, including troubleshooting, escalation, and coordination with other IT teams or vendors.
• Partner with Business Unit and project team leadership to support technology needs associated with mobilizations, site changes, workforce growth, and ongoing operations.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, regional leadership, and other business partners by providing responsive support and taking ownership of the overall technology experience.
• On-Site position, no remote or hybrid option.
• This position includes a company vehicle for commuting to and from work locations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
