Job summary

Alcami Corporation is seeking a Desktop Engineer to ensure proper computer operation and resolve end-user requests in a manufacturing and laboratory environment. The role involves deploying PC images, hardware inventory management, and hands-on fixes at the desktop level.

You will document resolutions, support onboarding training, and ensure compliance with cGMP while providing strong customer service. This is a 100% on-site, 1st shift position with occasional after-hours support and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• 2-3+ years' IT support experience in pharma/manufacturing environment preferred.
• A+ certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field end-user requests via ticket system, walk-up, phone, and email in a courteous manner.
• Document user information and issue details in incident management system.
• Triages and escalates problems as needed and follows up on incidents.
• Perform end-user account management, permissions, and access as required.
• Deploy PC images and complete user setup; manage hardware records and inventories.
• Install software and perform hands-on fixes at desktop level; configure systems.
• Record, track, and publish resolutions; develop training instructions and onboarding materials.
• Evaluate resolutions and analyze trends to prevent future issues.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and company training requirements.
