Job summary

Prudent Technology is seeking a Senior IT Technician to serve as the technical lead for device imaging, refurbishment, and hardware triage in Beltsville, MD. You will resolve complex image failures, oversee end-to-end OEM warranty repairs, and mentor technicians on depot procedures.

Requires advanced hardware and Windows deployment experience, ability to troubleshoot independently, and willingness to obtain/maintain Public Trust suitability with Tier 1 background investigation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a higher degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in device imaging, end-user hardware support, IT asset management, or IT depot.
• Advanced experience deploying Windows OS at volume and troubleshooting deployments.
• Component-level hardware repair on laptops, desktops, tablets.

Responsibilities

• Lead device imaging operations and apply standard Windows images to devices.
• Coordinate multi-bench imaging to meet daily targets (up to 300 devices).
• Diagnose image failures, driver issues, and deployment errors; escalate when needed.
• Evaluate returned devices for refurbishment or warranty status.
• Coordinate OEM warranty repairs end-to-end; escalate unresolved repairs.
