Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager to lead an integrated IT and Cybersecurity team in Huntsville, AL, overseeing performance of the Classified Solutions SOW and collaborating with program leaders to ensure consistent service delivery.

The role requires strong execution focus, leadership at strategic levels, and familiarity with RMF, JSIG, and cybersecurity best practices to maintain compliance and drive milestones within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years with BS; 8 years with Masters; 6 years with PhD.
• Current U.S. Government Secret clearance (or enrolled in CE) with recent closed investigation.
• Must meet US Government 8140 requirements for Manager Computer Systems Analysis 2 – IAT Level 2 (Security+).
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or an IT-related field (preferred).
• ITIL/Agile/CISM/CISSP certifications (preferred).
• Demonstrated management and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Foster an environment for individual development and effective performance management.
• Translate senior IT and cybersecurity strategies into detailed work plans.
• Oversee rollout and enforcement of cybersecurity and IT standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead day-to-day execution of initiatives, ensuring milestones are met within budget.
• Maintain and update tools for real-time visibility of work status.
• Assist in prioritizing tasks based on risk, impact, and resources; escalate when needed.
• Identify skill gaps and coordinate training or certification opportunities.
• Conduct periodic compliance checks and report deviations to senior management.
• Gather data for organizational metrics and prepare routine status reports.
• Support the preparation of government compliance documentation.
• Interact with executives, CIDO PMO, and customers on technical matters.
