Job summary

Paycom - ATS Newark, NY is seeking a Location Support Specialist to stock and manage vendor managed inventory on site at various locations. You will ensure inventory areas are clean, safe, organized, and accurately reflected in our VMI software.

This customer-facing role requires effective communication with customers and the sales team, regular on-site visits, and the ability to travel to customer sites within the designated area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Inventory management experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites; background clearance and drug screening required.
• Stockroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and stocks weekly and emergency replenishment shipments.
• Inspects replenishment shipments for correct quantities and products.
• Completes inventory cycle counts weekly or quarterly.
• Maintains VMI areas clean, safe, organized, and labeled.
• Resolves on-site customer issues to promote loyalty.
• Collaborates with sales team to fulfill on-site needs.
• Communicates regularly with sales and customers.
• Completes administrative tasks on non-scheduled stock days (up to 2 hours per week).
