Job summary

Genesis Intermodal Services, LLC is seeking a qualified Dispatcher for our Charleston, SC terminal. The role supports driving teams, coordinates with the Terminal Manager, and ensures accurate delivery instructions and timely updates.

The position is on-site, Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with potential weekend on-call duties. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in dispatch or logistics, experience with intermodal operations, and strong customer service and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of dispatcher or similar experience in intermodal/logistics.
• On-site 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday with on-call weekends as needed.
• International port experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with drivers to provide delivery instructions and handle issues.
• Track driver locations and progress using ELD tracking systems.
• Serve as point of contact for drivers, customers and internal staff.
• Maintain accurate records for deliveries and logs.
• Collaborate with Terminal Manager on driver training.
