Job summary

Genesis Intermodal Services, LLC is seeking a dispatcher for our Charleston, SC terminal. The role requires 2–3 years of intermodal dispatch experience and on-site work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

You will coordinate driver communications, monitor routes, and back up CSR during high-volume periods. Qualified candidates have familiarity with ELD/tracking systems (Samsara preferred), knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, and the ability to work with terminal management on driver

Qualifications

• 2–3 years dispatcher experience in intermodal/logistics.
• On-site, Monday–Friday, 8a–5p.
• International ports experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with drivers to provide delivery instructions and monitor routes.
• Track drivers using ELD/tracking tools.
• Serve as a main contact for drivers, customers and staff; backup CSR during high volume.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and driver logs.
• Monitor driver performance and provide coaching.
• Collaborate with Terminal Manager on driver training.
• Additional duties as assigned.
