ID Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor for an on-site, interim 3–4 month assignment in Joliet, IL. The role concentrates on staff workflow, coaching, safety, and process improvements, with a mid shift 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. schedule and weekend flexibility. Salary is $85,000 annually and based on experience and education.

Responsibilities include enforcing GMP, managing attendance, and liaising with management to drive performance while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with some college coursework required.
• 2+ years of supervisor warehousing experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment for the customer’s product, associates, and temporary workers.
• Follow established procedures for verification of shipments, handling, and inventory accuracy.
• Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
• Foster teamwork by listening and communicating with all associates.
• Maintain attendance and tardiness records.
• Monitor daily safety compliance and investigate accidents.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and training as needed.
• Coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers.
• Maintain proper GMP for a food-grade warehouse.
