Job summary

Norrell Construction Inc in the Gulf Coast region (Sweeny, TX) is seeking an Instrument Technician to install, maintain, repair, and calibrate electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical instrumentation systems. You will work with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure instrumentation remains accurate and fully functional.

The role requires 5+ years of instrumentation experience, NCCER certification, TDLR, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of instrumentation experience.
• NCCER certified and TDLR.
• Valid Driver’s License; reliable transportation.
• Willing to follow company and project policies and guidelines.
• Drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Install instrumentation systems per prints and P&IDs.
• Maintain, repair, and calibrate instrumentation in manufacturing/R&D settings.
• Collaborate with engineers/technicians to ensure proper function and measurements.
• Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams to plan work.
