Job summary

Nutrien is seeking an associate-level Electrician to maintain, replace, and diagnose instrument and electrical components in our Aurora area. You will report to the Department Supervisor and ensure equipment operates at peak capacity.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting control systems, overseeing daily maintenance activities, performing preventive work, and following strict safety protocols while wearing PPE in elevated spaces. A strong focus on teamwork and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; vocational training or apprenticeship as Electrician.
• Experience as Electrician in industrial or commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and use hand tools.
• NCRC testing required for hourly applicants; thresholds specified in posting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, replace, and diagnose instrument/electrical components in the Nutrien area.
• Monitor equipment to ensure full operation and optimal capacity.
• Direct and coordinate maintenance staff and safety reporting.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems.
• Work at high elevations and wear company PPE in open spaces.
