Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university is required.
• Valid Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in content area assigned OR active enrollment in state-approved EPI or MAT program with eligibility.
• Preferred: ESE Certification, Gifted Endorsement, ESOL Endorsement, Reading Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and implement engaging instructional activities.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources for diverse learners.
• Supervise students and maintain attendance records.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure classroom discipline.
• Provide instruction in residential facilities under DJJ supervision.
• Collaborate with supervisors and peers to enhance instruction.
• Communicate with students, parents/guardians, and stakeholders within timelines.
• Demonstrate professional and ethical standards in all interactions.
