Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc is seeking an Instructional Designer to design, develop, and maintain e-learning for manufacturing teams at our Plymouth, MI location. You will translate technical material into practical training that improves safety, efficiency and consistency, collaborating with subject matter experts and L&D colleagues.

The role requires 3+ years of experience in e-learning development, proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360 and related multimedia tools, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, learning technology, communications, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience designing and developing e-learning solutions.
• Experience developing training for manufacturing, industrial, technical, operations, or frontline environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain manufacturing e-learning curriculum, ensuring content stays relevant and accurate.
• Design and develop interactive e-learning for production employees using adult learning principles.
• Collaborate with manufacturing subject matter experts to translate complex content into clear instruction.
• Create engaging digital learning experiences using storytelling, scenarios, assessments, graphics, audio, video, and other media.
